Bonnie's New Turbo!
During dyno testing at this year's AROC National Convention in Nashville, the Besic Motorsports team suffered a second devastating failure of the Vortech supercharger on their Bonneville Speed Record car, "Bonnie", which plans to contest the H/BMS speed record during this year's Bonneville Speed Week.

Having decided that "two catastrophic failures is two too many", according to Darren Besic, the team dug in their heels and dedicated themselved to building a custom turbocharger application for the car. These pictures are the latest progress report from Jim Steck of Autocomponenti, who has been working overtime to fabricate and install the turbo system.
