Autodelta has just announced their J12 tuning program for Alfa Romeo's 147 compact model, which they claim will produce the fastest Alfa hatchbacks ever, covering 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds and topping out at over 150 mph. These cars will feature the same powerful turbocharged TwinSpark motors currently used in their 156 and Spider/GTV conversions (click here for more details on the Autodelta program for the 156 and Spider/GTV), and will be available in either J12 or J12evo guises, the latter wearing much more aggressive exterior bodywork.

They have also recently announced the J11evo package for the 156, which is currently available with either the turbocharged 225 bhp TwinSpark or a 3.5 litre (up from 3.3 litres on the J11 package) V6 pushing out over 300 bhp and capable of 170 mph. The J11evo package will be offered on both the 156 sedan and sport wagon, and includes Autodelta's own unique bodywork.

Exterior bodywork for both of these packages will be produced by Autodelta's Creativestudio manufacturing and Styling division based in Oxford, England.

According to Autodelta Director Jano Djelalian, the secret to Autodelta's success in tuning these motors is their ability to chip tune even Alfa's most recent, Phase III OBD-equipped engines.

While prices for the J12 have not been announced, Autodelta says buyers can expect to pay around £40,000 for the J11evo package.
